Lopar or sandy paradise as the locals like to call it, is the farthest place on the island and from the city of Rab.     Rapska fjera

    Is a three-day manifestation that takes place each year from 25-27 of July in the streets of old town of Rab, at which time it revives old municipal holidays. It celebrates Sv. Kristofor, the patron of Rab whose powers, according to the legend, have saved Rab from the Venetians. Rapska fjera is a manifestation worth visiting because it presents medieval tools, ways of processing and production, culture and tradition of Middle Ages in full attire.

    Picturesque medieval event that was restored in 1995, which with its design and overall performs attracts many tourists. Knights Games first took place in 1364 as a way of remembrance of the knights who defended the city. Their specialty is unique crossbows that are used only in San Marino, the Republic with which Rab is twinned.

    Komrčar forest park is located on the southwest side of the island, right next to the town of Rab. The total area of… ha has Mediterranean vegetation, various species of birds and butterflies, and especially beautiful is the black oak and alpine pine forest. After walking through the Komrčar park you will find yourself near the main town square and the rest and beauty is a pleasure for all your senses.

    Trails and paths

    Lopar's walking trail is one of the most diverse paths because it includes sandy beaches, pine forests and Mediterranean plants. Dundovo is a walking trail in Kampor that connects beautiful black oak woods and pine trees leading to beautiful coves. Supetarska Draga – Gonar is a trail that leads to the Rabat town area and Gonar cove. Probably the most beautiful trail is Rab-Mudanije because it includes Komrčar park and the highest point on the island of Rab. Lungo Mare is a path that goes through places like Palit, Banjol and Barbat and it goes along the coast.
